Foodies and garden lovers get ready for The Ginger Factory's iconic festival. Now on its 21st year, the 2017 Ginger Flower and Food Festival will again delight your senses as the famous Sunshine Coast attraction features delicious food, colourful flowers and fun entertainment on January 20 to 22.
Don't miss the cooking demonstrations from famous chefs and garden talks from local experts. Enjoy the live entertainment as well as the native animal display and stunning variety of over 3000 plants which will be available for sale. The mooloolaBaBQ Festival
Make your Australia Day weekend sizzle and help raise funds for the Cancer Council by bringing your family and friends to the Mooloolaba Wharf precinct on January 28. The mooloolaBaBQ Festival is a charity event where you can explore all forms of cooking – chard, grill, marinated, on a spit, roasted and smoked as well as flavours in this delicious event.
There will be food trucks and tents which will be offering BBQ beef ribs, lamb and pork as well as German sausages, craft beer and more. Besides food, the festival will also be hosting the National Championship Series Barbecue Competition. Other activities such as demonstrations, live entertainment, face painting, jumping castle and petting zoo will also be available. Make sure to stay until 8pm so you can watch some awesome fireworks display.
